Asta Connect is a collaborative task management tool that simplifies complex projects by connecting the right people with the plan.

It allows you to create tasks within a high-level schedule. Then, you can go in later and attach a more detailed plan to the individual activites within your high-level plan.

Its key progress and scheduling features include:

In addition to Sablono's intuitive colour-coded tracker that allows you to quickly understand the status at glance, Sablono also features custom visual trackers.

You can upload your floorplans, elevations, drawings or building models to build visualisations tailored to your unique project.

Asta Connect has limited project visuals

Asta Connect features colour-coded tasks with a timeframe that allows you to see the status of works. However, it does not have visual aspects like 3D models or visual trackers.

Sablono provides end-to-end quality management capabilities

Sablono provides robust quality assurance and quality control features that allow you to not only fix issues - but also put measures in place to prevent issues from happening in the first place.

With Sablono, you can create quality workflows before you even begin works to ensure compliance. Predefine everything from the flow of trades, hold-points and QA checklists, roles and responsibilities and more.

Asta Connect does not have quality capabilities

As Asta Connect is primarily a planning and scheduling tool, it does not have any quality capabilities. This of course means that you cannot add issues, photos, checklists or anything of the like.

Getting detailed commercial insights

Sablono provides granular commercial insights

Sablono provides accurate commercial insights by linking costs directly to your individual site activities to provide detailed insights into what the status of your project means for your finances.

You can assign a budget to all your work packages and activities to clearly monitor budget consumption so you can stay on track.

Sablono also allows you to see forecasted upcoming costs for your project based on your programme. Because all your progress, quality and cost data is connected in Sablono, you’ll receive accurate predictions based on real project data.

You'll also always know who needs to be paid what. By assigning costs to work packages and activities, Sablono automates commercial valuations and payment application processes for individual packages, contractors, material suppliers and more.

Asta Connect provides less granular commercial insights

With Asta Connect, you can also access commercial insights, however, unlike Sablono which allows you to cost-load individual activities, Asta Connect's cost module works on the high-level schedule only.

Simply put, this means that the commercial insights you get are less detailed and therefore less helpful when it comes to planning your costs and payments.
